AUTHOR'S  PROFILE

            A TALE OF FIVE CAREERS.

In 1957, with a freshly minted engineering
degree from the GEORGIA INSTITUTE OF
TECHNOLOGY, the first career began in
Applied Research on liquid propellant rocket
engines, at the NAVAL ORDNANCE TEST
    STATION (NOTS) at CHINA LAKE,
    CALIFORNIA.  Mr. Williamson designed and
tested some exotic rocket engines, including
the first rocket powered vehicle ( on display
at the SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTE) to achieve a
soft vertical landing.    Of his time at NOTS,
Mr. Williamson said “They let me build and
test all those rocket engines and it didn’t cost
me a dime.  They even paid me a salary”.

The second career was as Project Engineer
    (Mechanical), for LTV CORPORATION (the
prime contractor) on a program to develop a
very accurate surface to surface missile.

When the missile was deployed, Mr.
Williamson began a third career by
    establishing and operating a Suzuki
    Motorcycle dealership.

Twenty years as Chief Engineer for a small
    manufacturing company, MASTER
    PNEUMATIC-DETROIT, Inc.  was the fourth
    career.  Designing many products and
    receiving several patents, Mr. Williamson
    retired in 1998.

It wasn't all work, Mr. Williamson was an avid
SCUBA diver logging over 700 dives.

In the summer of 2006, he became concerned
about our country’s future.  No one seemed
    to understand the relationship between
    freedom and prosperity.  Power hungry
    politicians were seducing citizens with
promises of unearned wealth and security
but delivering poverty and oppression. At 75,
the love for America caused Mr. Williamson to
start a fifth career, as the writer of

        “21st CENTURY COMMON SENSE”.

Will this book convince you of the peril of
accepting the empty promises of unearned
wealth and security?   Will you help save our
    Republic by choosing  FREEDOM AND
PROSPERITY or will you dismiss  “21st
CENTURY COMMON SENSE”  as the ravings
    of a senile old man.

    A WORD FROM TOBY

Why would an old retired engineer decide to spend 60
    freedom?

the politicians on our freedom and feared that America
was very close to the reversal of the Revolution which
produced our freedom and the greatest economic
engine the world has ever known.  Something has to
For years I have been be done!   I had to do something!

As any good engineer would do, I examined the
options available to correct the problem.  The option
selected was to write a book that proved freedom
created prosperity and tyranny destroyed prosperity
and created poverty.  This is not the book I started to
write on September 6, 2008.  I just thought the situation
was bad when I started the research for “21st
CENTURY COMMON SENSE”.  The problem is much
worse than I could ever have imagined.  Just as I
expected, the research proved the government
meddling in the economy had stifled our economic
growth and created poverty instead of prosperity.   As
grievous and as devastating to the economy as the
“WANNABE PEERS’” actions have been, the
economic consequences are not the greatest danger
    to the republic.

    Our greatest danger is the
    “WANNABE PEERS’” use of the
    bureaucracy, the Antitrust Laws
and the Internal Revenue Service to
    punish political dissent, coerce
    political support from successful
    business persons and reward their
    political cronies.

For the last 130 years, the government has used its
monopoly on force to redistribute wealth from the
producer to the politically powerful, with a few crumbs
left over to buy the votes of the poverty stricken.
These government initiatives have also increased the
cost of all the goods and services you buy.   This
meddling in the economy has created a series of
economic crises that have been used to justify more
    successful assaults on our liberty.

    Each success has enhanced the
    ability of the “WANNABE PEERS”
    to punish political dissent and
    reward their political cronies.  We
cannot even start to regain our
    freedom and prosperity until the
use of government force to punish
    political dissent and reward their
    political cronies is ended.

Severe economic crises converted some of the ailing
democracies of the 20th CENTURY into dictatorships.
If the current proposals (CAP AND TRADE and the
HEALTH CARE CONTROL PLAN) are implemented, a
severe economic crisis will result that will make the
Great Depression of the 1930’s seem like the "GOOD
OLD DAYS".   What will be result of such an economic
    crisis?

The American Revolution will be history
and KING GEORGE III will have the last
    laugh!

A SUMMARY
“Common Sense Books" use history to prove:

    1.  Freedom creates prosperity

    2.  Tyranny results in poverty and despair.

Five of the tyrant’s “showcase programs”, some over 100 years
old, are analyzed in detail to show how these programs have
produced poverty and despair.  The analysis also shows how
these programs have been used to punish political dissent,
extort political support and reward the tyrant’s political cronies.

To aid the victims of our educational system to understand the
analysis of these programs, the following subjects precede the
    analysis of the tyrants programs:

    •  The creation and meaning of wealth
    •  The relationship between wealth and money
    •  The strategy and tactics the tyrants have
      used  to usurp our freedom.
    •  The three economic systems , tyranny,
the mixed economy and capitalism are defined

The final chapter identifies the greatest danger to the American
Revolution and provides the recipe to remove that danger and
    regain our freedom and prosperity.
