productive resources.  In a Capitalist society
these decisions are made by the entrepreneur
for the purpose of creating wealth and earning
a profit.  The Tyrant’s decision is made for the
purpose of rewarding political cronies and
obtaining political support.

The proposals to combat “GLOBAL WARMING” have more
potential to destroy our freedom and
prosperity than any  issue since WORLD WAR II.  The cost of
energy is increased by all these
proposals.  Energy is contained in all the products used to
sustain our lives.  

These proposals will be devastating to the poor, where the
cost of survival consumes all their income.

                                                          CAPITALISM – A BELATED OBITUARY
    Pure capitalism has never existed; it is similar to absolute zero in physics.  Like absolute zero, Capitalism
    has been approached but never actually achieved.  The United States Constitution, perhaps, produced the
    closest thing to Capitalism that the world has ever seen.  Even though our Capitalism was flawed, it
    produced unprecedented prosperity and undreamed of technological achievements.   Under a mostly
    Capitalistic society, the steam engine, whose design dated back over 1000 years before the emergence of
    Capitalism, became a practical labor saving tool.  The steam engine and subsequent innovation improved
    man's productivity and created a prosperity and well-being for the average citizen that is unique in all
    recorded history.  Entrepreneurs exploited innovation and created the industries that increased our
    productivity and reduced the cost of almost all goods and services required to sustain and enhance our
    lives.   Envy of the wealth accumulated by these entrepreneurs caused society to move away from its
    capitalistic roots.

     In 1888, the Congress created the ICC (Interstate Commerce Commission).  Two years later the Congress
    passed the Sherman Antitrust Act.  Capitalism became quite ill; contracting a fatal disease after Congress
    enacted these two laws.  Around the turn of the Century the Wannabe Tyrants enforced and strengthened
    these laws, and Capitalism lay down on its death bed, never to rise again.  On its death bed, Capitalism was
    slowly replaced by Cronyism.  Few even acknowledged its demise when Capitalism passed away in the
    mid-1930s.  Capitalism had been  completely replaced by Cronyism.

    Even though Capitalism has passed away, Wannabe Tyrants ignored its demise and continued to blame the
    corpse for the economic failures of Cronyism.  Cronyism, continued to degenerate into Tyranny.  Of course,
    Cronyism is simply the transition between Capitalism and Tyranny.  The evolution of cronyism to tyranny is
    almost complete.  How did it happen?  Read the book “21st Century Common Sense”.

              GLOBAL WARMING AND DON QUIXOTE?

    Don Quixote attacked the windmills believing the windmills were a threat to
    mankind but being inanimate objects, the windmills ignored him. His collision
    with the windmill blades unhorsed him, causing much physical pain and
    distress.  Mr. Quixote was delusional but at least, he was attacking a real
    entity.

    The premise that “global warming” is caused by CO2 emissions is just a false
     theory.  It has been proven only by the “preponderance of the propaganda”
    financed by those who plan to rob you of your wealth and usurp your
    freedom. You say that I don’t offer proof that CO2  doesn’t cause “global
    warming”.  Why should I?   It is faulty logic to try to prove a negative. It is only
         possible to prove a positive fact.

    If you need proof of the analogy of the “windmill” and the “global warming”

    Since there is no credible proof that CO2 causes “global warming” why should we even consider such a false theory?  The
    proof that CO2 causes global warming offered in the “preponderance of propaganda” is a list of disasters that will occur if
    the theory is correct.  You certainly don’t have to be a student of logic to see the fallacy in that argument.  

    This article only offers the same type of proof that the proponents of CO2 emission control offer. The disastrous effects of the
    regulations and taxes to control CO2 emissions.  Massive amounts of capital and regulations will be used to attack
    “windmills”.  Excuse me, I meant CO2 emissions.

    Why does such an obvious and disastrous scam exist?   Someone stands to gain considerable wealth and personal power
    from the proposed regulations and taxes.  It  is your wealth and  freedom the "PEERS" covet.  

    There has not been an issue that has the potential to destroy wealth and freedom since Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. The
    proposed regulations, limiting CO2 emissions, gives the “PEERS” the power to control every aspect of your life.  There is
    energy content in everything you need to sustain life.  Control of energy is control of your life. The proposed regulations and
    taxes give the “PEERS” almost total control of energy.

    What will be the effect on your life?  All available capital will be squandered on initiatives to remove CO2 from power plant
    emissions or developing alternative energy that exists only in the dreams of the “PEERS”.  Wealth will be squandered with
    no prospect of any return on the investment.  The cost of electricity will soar.  Air conditioning will be history.  The Sunday
    drive you enjoy will cost a week’s pay.  In the winter you will bundle up and huddle together with your family to stay warm.  
    You may even have wood for a fire but the CO2 police won’t let you use it. A Tax on live stock emissions will make milk and
    meat a “holiday only” treat.  Malnutrition and exposure will reduce the life span and the quality of life.  Innovation and
    economic progress will be history.  Poverty will soar and so will the “PEERS” power.

    Since CO2 emissions have infinitesimal effect on climate change, all this pain and sacrifice will have as much effect on
    climate change as the cigarette lighter in your car has on your gas mileage.
